I have no sleep regularity. I'm always hungry especially right before I go to sleep, because I'm used to eating approximately every 2.5 hours. I try to have a salad and some fruit or something as my last meal of the night but that stuff never fills me up. Sometimes the water thing works but more often than not I'm still hungry. I want to listen to my body when it's telling me to eat but I really am bent on getting my bodyfat down to the minimum my metabolism will healthily allow it to.
Sleeping for me is hard enough, let alone trying to eat enough of the right foods with out doing so before at least attempting to sleep.
