I ran across a fairly new concept in practice..."Amazon shorts"...no, it's not this:
http://www.womanthouartgod.com/images/maria1.jpgseems like the short idea is basically selling your article or extended blog entry. you literally have no idea what you are buying until after the electronic transfer of the half-a-buck funds. At least with i-tunes, when you buy a single, you at least get to hear a 10-sec clip of it first. Most of these 'shorts' don't even have an abstract....leaving you guessing by the title alone.
I found this title particularly ironic (11 pages, or 4.5 cents per page):
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000NA2BK4/ref=amb_link_4410692_3/104-0397979-0770316for 49 cents, he'll tell you his opinion on watching out for people selling their opinions.

actually, that piece is apparently satire on car dealers.
This one seems to be the very first Martial Arts related one available (14 pages...or 3.5 cents per page):

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/custome...155&s=booksapparently, thats the saving grace, is the poor sucker who paid for it first and gets ticked-off enough to write a review to warn the others.
I guess it's an idea that could do well...whats your thoughts on MAists in the future using this method to sell their articles?
