What's the fun in disabling YouTube comments? The comments are the best part!!! I've learned so much pseudo-science and fictional history from YouTubers to last me a lifetime!!! It's a treasure trove of amusement!

Why would it be too advanced for them? I give the same advice to our beginning students who are learning free-fighting.

Without concrete goals you're just moving around and hoping for an opening or just relying on your instincts. If you've got great instincts you'll be fine - but for the rest of we humans concrete goals can help.

Heck I'll even assign points for myself - one point if I hit a limb, two for the body, 1/2 a point for the legs - and I lose points if I get hit. I know it sounds like too much thinking - but it helps me stay relaxed and keep from getting stressed out about the fact that somebody's about to hit me in my throat again if I make a mistake (I'm short).

OK, let's take a look at things on the first video for a moment. You are concerned with going too hard. I don't see that as being much of a problem as Nick is doing a great job of helping you out there. He needs to do some drills on keeping his hands parked up by his chin. Every time he comes at you, his hands fly out. The technical term for his attack is "leading with his face". You oblige by laying a jab out there.
Have him stand there. You pop some punches at his face, no backing up. He must pick them off.
I would like to see you work on not backing up. Start moving side to side. Work the angles.
Lastly, stay cool.
