Guys just to make you feel worse I traded Conan in for Assassins Creed and all I can say is WOW! All of the bad points pointed out in the reviews are pretty true...no real need to be stealthy and the "hits" usually involve simply hacking and slashing your way through piles of guards...nothing tactical about it. But on the plus side, to do the "hits" you have to HACK AND SLASH YOUR WAY THROUGH PILES OF GUARDS! There's something insanely fun about plowing head first into a group of 30 heavily armed guards just for the pure hell of it. The combat is absolutely brilliant fun. The free running aspect of the game is also just stunning and done to perfection. The cities are fantastic and jumping, swinging and climbing over everything is breath taking...the graphics are out of this world. The actual main crux of the game is pretty average and tediously the same all the way through, but this is totally forgivable considering how good the combat and free running sections are! Basically if you love the idea of being Zorro and thought the opening chase scene in Casino Royale was the nuts...this is the game for you.

I didn't enjoy Halo 3 online. I did however stop playing Rainbow Six Vegas (R6V) and took up the Call of Duty 4 (COD4) online. I finished the game itself in 7 hours and I am almost finished it on Veteran; it is insane and the hardest game I have ever played. Online I have ranked up to 55 once and am at 1st Prestige 38 and will rank up again to 2nd Prestige; 10 in total. By this time Rainbow Six Vegas 2 will be out in March of 2008 and I will be on that with the majority of the people playing COD4.

COD4 is an awesome game and is fun online. It is like R6V that is has modern weapons however it is a much faster game online much like Halo 3. You can't jump as high and only a few times as the person gets tired; just like if you are running your character tires and you slow down; much more realistic. Has many game type modes to play which is cool as well. The maps are excellent and each is a "real" place as somebody did the research and showed the actual places they created them from ... freaky to the last detail. A good game for sure.

Our company is sponsoring a local family for Christmas that doesn't have much (Mother, Grandmother, 8 & 15 year old boys). We've just acquired a $350 Christmas tree from one of our suppliers at no charge. We have a fund raising committee that has gathered over the year $900 and our company will match it. On their list is the Xbox 360 so I said I would pick it up and also kick in some of my own money. There are good people out there that care.

OK, I finished COD4 twice and loved it, but as much as the 'All ghillied up' level nearly made me keep it for replay value, i decided to trade it while its value was high. I got Need for Speed: Pro Street, but was awful! No longer allows you to free roam around city streets, its just a straight forward track race game- bit like PGR4 on valium. Kept it for 3 hours (long enough to get a jet black Viper to 640 bhp ) then went and traded it for FEAR Files: Extraction point & Perseus Mandate expansion packs. I love FEAR, it is easily my favourite FPS, and having new levels and new weapons is awesome! (can i get some love for the Chain gun?! ). very happy blasting people into red mist in glorious bullet time

Still playing COD4 online. Almost finished it on single player a second time; doing it on Veteran. Because playing online I haven't had a chance to finish it and probably won't get to try till the Christmas break however I'll be playing Assassin' Creed then. March 2008 the new Rainbow Six Vegas 2 comes out which I'm drooling for.

OMG!! the new 'Sould Caliber' game has been previewed and is looking AMAZING. Even better than that, the 360 version has a guest playable character- YODA!!!!

The PS3 is getting Darth Vader (why oh why couldnt they put both characters in both versions?).

Jedi/Sith characters and moves combined with a highly advanced Namco fight-engine and graphics that make the eyes bleed.

I am very excited

Got Assassin's Creed for Christmas and knocked it off in a couple of days; excellent graphics but there is some repetitiveness but it was a good game. However the ending left me wanting more and of course the game was not finished and you find out that you have to wait for the next game as this bad boy is going to be a trilogy.

Playing F.E.A.R. that Brad (Butterfly) sent me and that is one freaky scary game. Still playing COD4 online and will until R6V2 comes in March; can't wait.

Always liked Soul Caliber and played it quite a bit on the Dreamcast. I will definitely have to get this as well.

F.E.A.R. is simply my favourite FPS- from the plot (Akira meets Ringu), through the single player Computer A.I., and the best use of 'bullet time' as a legitemate gameplay feature, not just a flash add on.
You should invest in the extension pack- extraction point/Perseus Mandate - new weapons, furthers the story a bit, and will keep you busy till F.E.A.R. 2 is released later this year

I am loving Assassins Creed- simply beautiful. It is easy to control, and i can see why this drew criticism, but if you sit back and allow the game to flow, you see that it is a modern take on 'Dragon's Lair' where the controls were easy to allow for the 'wow' factor. This has been designed more as an interactive movie than a platform/sandbox title, and I love it.

Oh man, Sould Caliber on the Dreamcast was so far ahead of its time its just not true (come to think of it, so was the Dreamcast). None of the sequels have looked, or handled as well on the other platforms since. IV looks like it may recapture the magic of its birth title. Fingers crossed.
