7 months. Are your working in a gym or on your own? What equipment do you have available to use? Are you working out alone or are you working with experienced people?

'Vascularity' is the term.

weight training- particularly bodybuilding rep range and working to failure, increases localised blood flow and blood pressure to the specific area that you are training. over time, the body adapts with an expansion of the arterial and venal walls. To see this increased vascularity to any great extent, your body fat levels have to be low enough so as to not cover the superficial circulatory systems. Train all bodyparts hard and iin balance with one another year in, year out, and aim to get your bodyfat to between 6% and 11% and your veins will pop out for your admiring fans just fine.

Back in the day, I was big into power lifting. As a gym rat, I ran into many a body builders. They would increase thier mass by high reps / low weight workouts. This would increase blood flow. That would make thier veins larger, thus giving them larger muscles. You want larger veins, try a lifting workout that has reps ending no less than 15, but no more than 20. Good luck.

reps of 6-15 work just as well. it is the training 'to failure' and resultant stress on the walls of the arteries and veins that causes an increase in their size/prominence, as opposed to a specific rep range. From a powerlifting perspective, 6 reps + is 'high rep training' of course

What makes a weight lifters veiny is angiogenesis. Angiogenesis simply means the growing of new blood vessels from existing vessels. Basically when you partake in aerobic exercise and endurance training, there is an enhanced need for oxygen and nutrients in your muscles. Your body responds to this need by making new vessels to get the energy stores directly into your muscle right away. Does your friend who lifts weights with you also do some sort of endurance sport that uses his arms alot like wrestling or basketball?

Also FYI angiogenesis is what makes a dormant tumor turn malignant. So, there has been plenty of research into foods and drugs that prevent angiogenesis. You should avoid anti-oxidants like berries and green teas if you want to promote angiogenesis.

Drop your bodyfat, increase endurance exercises for your arms and your veins with start popping.
