Wells I now have seen the movie ... 1.5 times to be exact. Checked the computer and it said to start at 6:30 so we arrive at 6:00, get our stuff and head in and it is on. I figure we've missed a few minutes in the beginning as they started it early but nope, I've missed half of it and too embarrassed to leave we watch it to the end, stick around and then watch the whole thing again.

They try to get in touch with the first movie. You see the Rocky character and get to know him better. He's looking older but he still has that something. The movie moved too fast through his workout but I guess that is not what Sly wanted to dwell on like he did for Rocky IV. Is this my favorite Rocky ... I'm not sure but it ranks up there. I believe Sly ... I believe.

To the contrary of most people like my favorite Rocky was Rocky V. I thought that had the best story and I really wanted Rocky to kick Tommy Gun's ass for his betrayal. I think a lot of people can relate to the plot of someone taking advantage of someone and then stabbing them in the back . Tommy was pressured to fight his mentor for no legit reasons other then jealousy. Rocky kicking his ass in the end has more realism then fighting Drago to avenge the death of Apollo..

Nothing better than watching Dolph Lungren get beat up!

rocky 1 was my bed time story for years, the others just went down hill, in my little mind, as looking for more money.

but i have to say 6 took it for me, i loved it. and after some soul searching i have to put 6 above 1.
