For instance, I can wake myself without an alarm clock - and I work different hours several days a week. I haven't used one for over 15 years now. This lead to diversification of use, including water bombs, inflating them over our heads, chasing girls around the yard 'twanging' them with them (much better range than an elastic band), and of course the gross-out 'nasal floss' trick. I couldn't sit anywhere near him during lunch because it would gross me out. Now for myself, I used to (before I had kids) be able to kick my leg up and catch it then drop into the splits without letting go of my leg.
