Hey Guys I`ve been working out on my bag for few years now, but have never done any rope jumping.. yeah i know i just figured it won`t help me that much since i don`t train boxing professionaly, but just as a form of exercise and self defence... plus i believe it has helped my shoulder(from all those jabs ) regain its strenght from a weightlifting injury... unfortunately my other shoulder/back side of it got worse(from power punches)
I have to stop heavybag for few months because i need it to heal... so i was wondering to do some rope jumping not to get my legs stiff.. so i never got myself a rope... i`m 6 feet tall and i`m not sure what lenght of a rope should i get? 8 feet? 9 feet? 10 feet?? Thanks a lot guys!

I am 5'11", and I use a 9ft rope cut down to 8.5ft. If I use a 9ft, I trip over it like a schoolgirl.

I'm 6'3" and always have trouble getting a rope long enough I also think it has something to do with my stupid u.s size 15 banana feet! i keep catching my toes and then theres the shin splints, remind me why do we skip again?
Its not about how hard you hit, its about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward
