I know you guys are mostly familiar with the T9 feature on your mobile phones. My being lazy to learn,made me used to texting with the multi-tap system until I tried T9 (its the Dictionary mode on my nokia phone) i think its much faster only i dont know how to use it properly as sometimes i commit some errors.Any tips on how to use this feature?

No idea what that is and I don't text ... I call people and speak to them directly. If I want something in text I e-mail. However being 38 might have something to do with it.

Texting can be useful at times though.like when you just wanna say hi to friends! T9 makes it even more faster to text on my mobile phone than using the multi-tap.

Obesity may be rising, but people have very muscular and agile thumbs. Strangely, this seems to be causing problems in some because the thumb did not evolve with such a load and is being put under stress from all of these new movements, leading to circulation problems and the like.

I rarely text. I just can't be bothered when it's usually easier to call.

On an (even more) off topic side note, I've just installed Firefox 2, and this inline spellchecker is fantastic!

Predictive text is great for me and really helps me when creating messages. I can't stand messages that have uncomprehendable abbreviation in it. I used to practiced at this site www.t9.com, very helpful indeed.

Predictive text has all but eradicated th crse ov txt spk. I h8 txt spk.

Some real nerdy stuff there. Man, just speak english. I hate predictive text though. Id rather just do it myself.

As for me it saves me time and effort especially when i'm on a rush. Very handy indeed.

I searched google for t9 tutorials. Found this games too!My daugther loves it.

The t9 site is really a big help for those people wanting to learn more of this feature. Makes text messaging so much easier.

A buddy of mine was talking about it in the lunch room during break so showed me. Who would a thought a grown man would do this stuff but yup, I was surprised. He likes it because it always costs the same and you don't have to worry about long distance fees. I now can see a positive side to text messaging though I'm not going to jump right out there and do it.

Text messaging costs me more. If somebody sends me one I have to pay 10 cent. Even if I didn't want it!! What type of [censored] is that?

I had this done to me as well Joel and it was from my own provider. I have had them cancel this feature and I made them credit me the $0.20 they charged me for it. I'm anal about that kind of stuff. My bank really likes me and know not to cheat me out a few cents as I'll know.
