I'll bow to your superior knowledge, Andy (I'm not that skilled in throws) but, as already has been said, as a boxer he probably didn't know how to.
ok at some time I will put on here the blow for blow account of the vidio.I wasnt going to bother with that one being it would be about a guy who couldnt even injure the other two and would then have to poss do something again after they went in to the bushes.
After I have posted it who ever wants to can critisce or look at it or not as the case may be.

We want your "blow by blow account" of the video now. You claim to be a kickboxer karate man but yet your bad observation of the video says otherwise. He should have thrown him? they dont teach you takedowns in boxing im afraid. But of course you know that seeing as you are a kickboxer ...face it, the guy was good, he knew what he was doing, and so far all you have done is criticise his actions. Which is fine of course providing that you know what you are talking about, which you so far dont seem to be. Fill in your profile, explain to greater depth what he did wrong, and what he should have done, and then we might take you seriosly. (you still havnt answered my kokutsu dachi question by the way)

TECHNICAL MAtters refering to technique is all I am interested in discussing.
Then comply with Ed's request (and your offer) of a technical critique of his power generation. 'Ask medulant' does not count as a technical answer.
So far the only technical input you have made on this thread is that the guy should have thrown instead of kept striking (personal opinion),that you felt he should have stomped them unconscious (legally debatable), that he was open too open to groin kicks and overhand rights (show me someone who isnt open to some form of counter when in full offensive and I will show you my hairy a$$).
That level of 'technical discussion' is well within my abilities thanks.
You are a scab that i have just decided to stop picking. our posts are there for all to view, and I trust others on here to draw their own sensible conclusions about you.
And its still video btw.

Re: Leo's "evidence"...look @ their lines of sight. There is no line of sight toward the couple.
You fail to take into account 30 degree male peripheral vision my friend. There was definitely visibility, as seen by the "attacker's" friend who looked their way before the fight began. I maintain that it was deliberate.
Besides which, how many people accidentally raise their arms to head height when they turn around when they can hear someone walking behind them? I think neither stupidity nor drunkeness can't explain that away as not deliberate.
(Well, maybe stupidity... )
Has there been a technical discussion in this thread? Because if there was, I missed it.

glad to hear it Brian. this thread has turned into specticle thats got ugly. Andy did eventually give his impressions of things mentioned to me via PM last night. for whatever reason, he didn't want to add publicly nor did he wish to share his background. In an anonymous forum, that is anyone's right. It's also anyone's right to ignore people that don't give their real name or training background. I don't think it's worth giving andy a hard time beyond this point...I appologize for fanning the flames in this thread. If someone wants to remain anonymous thats fine, but their advice also carries that same credability (or lack thereof). IMO.

interesting...it does seem the instigator eyed his prey first doesn't it? that would make it intentional. whats also interesting to note is it appears the boxer looks at the guy who is scoping.
when I see someone coming towards to pass in a sidewalk - I move out of the way for them. the instigator doesn't do that.
either way, the boxer's reaction was understandable and his ability effective if his intent was to subdue. I don't fault him, but I would advise people to react differently. The two men could have had weapons and the couple could have been seriously hurt or even killed in revenge. ...and actually, the two men after getting up start after the couple by walking promptly in their direction....we don't know what happened. this may not have been as successful an outcome as people assume.
