Haven't you guys ever experienced this before? Running this kind of gauntlet was a normal thing for me in my neighborhood. Bullies and jerks, hooligans that do this kind of thing for fun? So used to sheep that run away...they didn't expect to have to fight...and that is why they put up no resistance.

Thats pretty damning evidence Leo. Like I said, I would have laid into them even if they had just been being thoughtless enough to catch my wife by accident. I would love to say otherwise, but I know myself too well, and this would bring out a very unpleasant side of me.

lol detective leo... i watched the vid a few more times and he actually doesnt look at her, he looks just behind her, and up til the point he hit her he hadnt seen her. I still think that he was a bit jumpy. But hell they probably deserved it

I wouldn't have put up with it either, it's assault and that's a criminal offense in most places I know. The guy was probably well within his rights doing what he did and in fact, he definitely went easy on them imho. I am impressed with the guy's awareness, he was watching the both of them from about 3 metres away before they even made a move. Most people I know wouldn't have been keeping their eye out, no wonder he acted so quickly.

Leo, I seen the exact same thing that you did I just did not due the "sleuth" work that you did.

Also if you notice, the camera does move around a bit so it is not stationary and set up, somebody is operating it. And the two fellows in the beginning were tusseling and I had the impression they were going to go at it. I suspect that they were going to video tape themselve fighting or something and that the couple coming along were just a coincident and a good target and why he looked over his shoulder before throwing out the arm. And further, the guy in the black sees the couple coming up the sidewalk and says something to the other guy so he knew they were coming and he took a look over his shoulder before throwing the backhand. It was 100% intentional and he got 100% beat for doing it. Stupid schmucks.

Or perhaps they were neighbors with a dispute and the one decided he'd tape the incident should it get out of control. Perhaps he was called out and knew there was a chance for his butt to be beaten. Then they tusseled a little and then made up ... and then the couple ... and then the smack down.

Dude, that was definitely intentional. Still not sure if it was staged, but that was no accident either way.

(*has fit of rage) - It couldnt have been! what reason did he have to knock some chick in the face? he was arguing with the other bloke about something and he probably thought someone was coming up behind him to grab him or something. I just cant see the logic behind hammering a passerby in the face when your arguing with someone. Ill bet you it was like a flinch reaction. Prove me wrong.
