Yeah, despite what Eddie Bravo says about there being no point in practicing with the gi if you'll be doing no gi, there's valuable stuff you can learn doing the gi that'll translate to nogi. Even Eddie recommends wearing gi pants for guys who want a better half guard. It's good to be used to where clothing gives you extra grip to your or your opponents advantage, and the same for no clothing and extra slipperiness with nogi. I'm primarily nogi, but I'll put a gi on from time to time just to get some practice in something different.

Bitters, just checking how classes are going? Here's also a link where Mike Yackulic fought Kalib Starnes who was on the Ultimate Figher 3 Series that I thought you may be interested in. http://www.wffchampionships.com/wff9/6/index.htmMike's last fight was at King of the Cage on June 18, 2006 where he won by submission (triangle choke) over Mike Rooney. Just some info.

Ah, still going good. However, thanks to midterms I haven't been able to get our as much as I would like. When things slow down, I will hopefully be able to catch 3 classes a week.
One cool aside was that a friend of mine, whom I have not seen in a long time, takes classes here too. He has been doing it for about a year. It will be nice to be able to roll with him abit and catch some of the basics that I still haven't learned from Mike.
