Haha nice!

Just remember the stretching before and after class. Otherwise you will definitely feel it the next day, which isn't all bad.

actually i have just learned that streching after is more important than before, further more don't strech cold muscle or you can tear it. sorry I don't remember my source for this info. but Arnold Schwartenager stretches between sets for extra flexibility. flex=str.

Then how would you warm the muscle up so that it doesn't tear?

Warm up exercises. Jogging, walking, jumping jack's etc. Some stretches are also considered warm ups depending on the type (Dynamic, static etc etc).
Don't let the white belt fool you. . .
I know even less than you might think.
