Havent got any links, but IMO the greatest drummer i have seen is Dave Lombardo of Slayer. I remember seeing them for the first time, and the support act had worked up the pit into a real good mosh so heat shimmer was coming off the front of the crowd. Lombardo kicked in with his bass pedals and the shimmers flinched and moved as the sound waves hit them

. His drum patterns are complex and unique whilst never losing the driving force and aggression needed in that genre of music. He split from the band back in the early 90's and became a sought after percussionist in other genres as diverse as modern jazz.
another really neat thing I have seen both Killing Joke and Ministry do is have 2 drummers on identicle kits drumming the whole gig in perfect timing together- even sharing drum solos, one stopping as the other takes over mid solo, and never missing a beat. Awesome.
