does anyone know of any judo schools in York, PA.
I am looking for beginner classes, preferably (actually it's absolutely necessary) Saturdays.

I live near York. Unfortunately I do not know of any judo schools in the area. There are two options that I am aware of:

http://www.ymcaharrisburg.org/p08.asp

Very good judo program at the YMCA in Harrisburg. I attended a class there with one of the other forum members (ToddR), and was quite impressed with the skill level of the instructors there.

The other option is the new Grappling class that opened at the Yorktown fitness center. See this thread here:

I have not met Brad (the instructor there), but he has trained with ToddR and my current BJJ instructor, both of whom spoke very highly of his skills. I plan on checking that class out soon myself.
