I haven't seen him at class, or talked to him in at least a Month. I need to see how he's doing. As for the get together I am afraid I will not be able to attend. Sorry guys, the past Month and half has been brutal for me. I hope everyone has a blast! I can't wait to see the pic's!

Schanne I am picking Big Rob and some of his friends at 7am and should arrive at your door step around 9am.

Just a break down of what I'm going over (if I get a chance this time )

Tuite Jitsu (Okinawan way of joint techniques) coupled with Atemi Jitsu (distracting blows that weaken the body). In this I will cover 3 points (leg, arm, head) that are used in Atemi Jitsu.

4 ways of joint locks will be covered from a simple grab moving to a complex attack.

After that I will cover the first 5-6 steps in the Jo Kihon Kata and show how the same principles used in unarmed combat are used in weapons.

The whole thing should be about 1.5 hours long. We will be primarily doing a partner drill scenerio and like last time... we will be changing partners periodically so everyone will have a chance to work with each other.

Can't wait to see the regulars and meet some new people!

Since Raul is talking about what he is doing I will give my break down as well.

My plan is to start with the basics, Verbal Diffusion, passive stance, pre-emptive strike, jamming. The Freight, The Shredder, Small inrto to knife work and Stick work, put it all together with scenario's and pressure testing all with alive partner drills.


Because I'm last I plan on killing all the brave people who want to find out what the Pit and/or Gauntlet is all about.
This will give people something to remember.

I'm Baaaack! I had a wonderful vacation in Orlando Florida. I havent heard from any of my buddies that are coming, so i might be all alone. I had barley any phone service were i was at but did get a hold of Terry Davis (the happiest guy alive), he may come down with JohnL. Tried to get a hold of you schanne but my phone prohibited that.

I will be going over some familiar stuff with you guys. I am going to focus on defensive tactics. those being the most common punches and kicks you will encounter on the street. Then at the end i want to do one sided sparring, one guy is attacking making the other defend. See yous tomorrow!
