http://www.fightingarts.com/ubbthreads/s...0&fpart=allThe karate/ju jitsu guy was Harold Howard great fighter
It states he beat Royce Gracie.
In my archives, (the fight was a few years ago) I have di ssected a fight where he fought a grappler/ excellent fighter.
Both fought UFC bare knucke. My kinda thing.
This is my opinion.
No videos as such.
How ever in my opinion
(This is a rough description of the technique)
One counter he used against a take down was a sprawl/front guillotine / then a sumigaeshi of sorts lifting the opponent with two legs.
http://www.judoinfo.com/images/animations/blue/sumigaeshi.htm|He also used a lot of hooks uppercuts and other techniques found in katas(tekki 1,2 ,3 love these katas)
I think like any body else, me included you, might consider training the techniques individualy, once the kata is learned.
Eg train hooks, train uppercuts, the stance, train the throw and counter throw.
I don’t know what your knowledge is so I cant comment on your training. Do you practice hooks? You would need to know the katas, in this case very much tekki orientated in my opinion and then take out the techniques and practice them on a bag maki wari and partner work.
