Mifune Sensei was one of the best martial artists I've ever seen, even into his old age. I have some old USJA videos that showed him training, and he was like trying to shake off a fishook... he just stuck to his opponent and rode them to the ground... and it didn't seem to matter what size they were. Many of his "victims" on the video were high ranking, which denotes a high level of skill, and he dumped them like a bag of potatoes.
He was the most skilled Judo player I've ever seen, and any of us would kill to have that kind of technical ability. He and Kotani Sensei were two of the best.
