back to ranting and raving. Lately my bad experiences with girls I've had feelings for, especially a very recent one, and having those relationships and experiences all turn out badly for me, is really hitting me hard for some reason. I don't know why but I'm suddenly all depressed about it. It's really painful.

good grief, thats enough on its own to make me depressed. Listening to either of them is punishment for shoplifting in some countries.
If you are going to mope over women, then do it properly. You need Leonard Cohen, Tom Waits, Nick Cave, Johnny Cash, and 'downward spiral' by NIN, not awful pop rock. You may also wish to read an anthology of short stories by charles Bukowski by candlelight whilst drinking a good bottle of single malt. Man I forgot how much fun a broken heart can be. I am almost sorry I am happily married

Cord, sorry but I'm with StormDragon on this one. Linkin' Park and Evaneseance rock dude. Johnny Cash is for old farts like my Dad ... though I respect the man, just not my cup of tea. I watched "Walking the Line" and I heard his family thought that this was a good recreation of his life ... however I would not listen to his music on a daily basis. Maybe the problem is the big lake between us. Maybe you are just getting Johnny Cash now and with in about 20 years you will get these guys. Are you guys still using strings between cans there? I do remember you saying you have slow dial up internet ... that went out in the mid to late 90's dude ... see what I mean.

Linkin park and evanescence are for whiny 13 year olds... sorry but thats the way I see it. Put on some Rolling Stones or at least something that deals with material thats more than "i feel lonely at school." P.O.D., while not one of the bands i like, has better material and hey..and that track "will you" is okay I guess. If all fails...blast the heaviest thing you can come across and do something violent! but keep it legal.
