• You can't see other peoples' nosehairs while looking at them
• You get to pick through the fruit in the top boxes in the produce section
• You don't have to ask to find out how the weather is up here.
• People look up to you....because they have to.

All true. Ironically enough, there are no advantages to being tall for breakdancing. All the guys I know who are 6ft all wished they were shorter.

Guess we're the exception to the rule! Woohoo!!!
(must be why I like the activity so much, I'm basically built for it!! )

To add to the list:

- Psychological application of taller people being perceived as more powerful, more dignified, and better leaders (Napoleon is our exception.... )

- Unless you're 7ft, clothes are made for the tall. Short people get stuck in the children's section (although it is cheaper)

- Perception of being "older" or more matured.

- Ability to just do that forhead thing to short people trying to fight you, just put your hand on their head and watch em swing wildly trying to hit you!!

Actually, I wear a medium in shirts and most are too short for my taste. When I raise my arm you can see my stomach. And, well, that causes a commotion with the ladies and the guys get jealous.

5' 8.25" ... and I cling to know I have that extra .25".

Always wished I had been 5'10", that would have been the perfect height. Thankfully I have always been stocky and with weight lifting over 8 years I have only added to my physique. I may not be intimidating like some tall people but for sure if you saw me you'd be fearful I'd tear your ankles to shreds.

My brother is 6'3" and is thin and wishes he was my height and stocky. I guess it doesn't matter if you are tall or short there will always be some wish they were different. Fat or thin, wishing you were different. We always want what we can't have.

Dereck, I'm 5'10" and I wished I was 6', you just can't win mate.

I'm 6'4", perfectly happy.

I'm 6'2",it is a definate sparring advantage,until they get close.

My brother is 6'5",fights like a girl. My dad is 5'7",fights like a lion.He's almost 62 and I'm sure he can kick my ass,lol.
