Question 2- Very well, thankyou for asking.

Question 4- I haven't got the faintest idea about what would happen to the target, however I do believe that your arm would dislocate itself from your shoulder.

Do I get a 1/2 point, do I? Do I?

Oh err sorry, wrong thread.

Q5: you just passed your shodan test, and while hussling up to collect it, you trip over your own feet and land on your face, which knocks you out for a good 5 seconds. what would be ettiquete when you regained conscienceness? still collect your belt? or sit down, act injured and collect it later when nobody is looking?

Q5: Well, part of every test for me is learning how to take a fall without getting seriously injured. So, by my shodan test, I feel I would have a good enough reflex to at least not be knocked out.

But let's say I did get knocked out, I would go up and get it anyway and laugh along with everyone else who surely would be laughing. Hell, my Sensei would laugh at me. But he'll just joke about it and pass it off. It makes light of a "huge incident" which I wish I could do.

#6 You are the owner of a dojo and you are asked to do a 45 second news segment from a local TV station. ...do you decided to show something that you think will get people in the door (marketing-minded clip), or do you show/say what represents closer to what the Art is about (informational-minded clip) ?

Q6: I think I'd be in the middle, but head toward getting people in the door. Not for marketing purposes, honestly. But if this Art has changed my life this deeply, then I want to spread it to as many people as I can. Of course never leaving out what the Art is about.

The news clip would me talking directly to the camera while class continued on behind me like always. I would talk about the things that I got from martial arts and what it means to me. Those it touches are the ones I want coming to my class.
