One website that has recently expanded and made its website videos free via streaming is www.downloadkarate.com. the fullc ourses are now available at no charge (you used to have to pay). 2 other good sites to add to the list of bunkai sites include (but are not free):

www.martialsource.com
www.koryu-uchinadi.com/

All of these are good addiotns to the above list.

youtube videos are sometime sgreat but are often too short and unprofessionally filmed in my opinion.

Hope this helps.

edited to fix link

Here's an excellent (IMHO) Shorin kata bunkai site. Some definate eye-openers here (for me, at least). I've found there not to be a tremendous amount of clear and systematic video material on the Web for the deciphering of traditional shorin kata, so for that reason I found this site particularly interesting.

Check out the KUGB national karate finals at the NIA, Birmingam from May 19th 2007. One guy gets knocked out. There's some great team & individual and team kata, and some furious kumite.

Only watched the second link, and just wanted to point out that there was no 'goju' in that link.

The Goju board breaking was embarassing. That whole slapping of the board over someones stomach is rediculous. Might as well light some pine board on fire

Well...I don't know what others see in various demonstrations. The 'hard body' aspect that the video highlighted was titillating, but that 'iron shirt' aspect isn't exclusive to Goju. Honestly, I've never seen good Goju online.

(sorry for the derail)

Check out this Shotokan demo..some acting but all of the purpose of entertainment. Yet some practical hand work showing how traditional blocks can be used effectively in rapid sequence.

For any Isshinryu Karate practitioners, I have created a discussion forum specifically dedicated to Isshinryu:
www.Isshinryukarate.freeforums.org
It's brand new, so there's not too much going on there, but hopefully, with time, we can garner more interest and it'll get a little busier.
