Speaking of becoming "immune" to products such as sleep aids, is there anyway to reverse this? Sleep aids do nothing for me and same goes for painkillers.
I think it is due to when I was in highschool I took vicadins for years just for fun almost on a daily basis (yes it was stupid) around 2k mg. I was hoping that over time or the years progressed that I would be able to "feel" the effects of medications again but to no avail.

Anyone know if this is reversable? I was just hoping that over time it would, but it has not. An example of how bad it is for me, last year I had my wisdom teeth pulled out and I was going through 20 pills of 800mg vicodins and dervacet. Yes my stomach lining had its toll as for there was blood in my crap while I was taking this.
Never underestimate the little guys.

IMO, one should attempt to eat the cleanest, most nutritious diet possible, 24/7. And frankly, that's just damn hard. So, supplementation fits in.

I disagree with this (unless you live in the middle of nowhere and don't have access to anything). Buy whole ingredients and learn how to cook them. It's not difficult at all...

On the other hand, it can get expensive. But so are those fancy vitamins.
Darn kids! Get off my bandwidth!

stop taking them mate cut them out all together or slice it in half, treat it like a drug addiction - after all you are after the effects

A Multivitamin, glucosamine sulfate tablets..codliver oil tablets...and I throw flaxseed in my sandwiches. A whey protein once a week or so. Aside from that I just try to eat healthy. Too bad nobody knows any kind of perfect balance..

about a week ago i started taking xyience noxcg3. the stuff is a lil on the expensive side, but it is well worth it. it has given my stenght and stamina a boost. my workouts and runs are now longer. and my muscles recover in about 24 to 48 hours. so i can work out muscles multiple times per week. if you are looking to increase strength or stamina then i would definately recommend xyience

im curious on that, can you give an example of how much improvement you've gotten from it... like more reps with the same weight?

i'm interested in trying it, but yeah, it's expensive, and money is kinda tight

I take daily iron and folic acid supliments, but that is because I found out that I am anemic. I started getting dizzy and having trouble breathing in class last December, and within a week of starting the supliments, I stopped having issues. I've only been dizzy once, which was a couple of weeks ago and I was still getting over the flu. I tried multi-vitamins for a while and wasn't able to see any difference. Unless you are feeling ill, I don't see the point of taking anything. With all of the mixed messages from the media these days, its impossible to say what is right and what is wrong or what benifit, if any you will get.

I broke a diet and started taking Lipo 6 which is a fat burning supplement. I also purchased the Flax Seed Oil as well to mix in my protein shakes. All are working for me but the diet and clean eating is the best thing so far!
