I just wanted to ask really quickly if someone could give some advice on what weight class I should fight in (mma). I know it's hard without knowing my experience and such, but my weight right now is around 142, and I plan on starting a new lifting/gaining cycle...and obviously with that I will gain weight. I just want to know where I should stop, and what would be the best for me to compete in. I'm not that tall (5'9"), and I'm more of a stand up fighter than a ground fighter. Would it be a good idea for me to get at around 155? Or lighter even? Any and all advice is very welcome.
