I boxed this kid today and I didn't really know what to do. All he does is throw haymakers, like windmills. He throws pretty fast and I didn't know what to do against him. Eventually I just blocked and jabbed him in the lip and he gave up there. It took me awhile though, he hit me a lot of times, because I didn't know what to do against haymakers. What should you do? I'm not exactly sure.

I would personally just back up and block the punches. He would tire himself out eventually, then go to work on him.

It's easy, there are two pursuits you could follow. a) move away until he tires, then you could go offensive on the tired kid. b) intercept when he throws his haymakers. Remember, haymakers are the most telegraphing of all the punches in boxing. It's kinda easy to see him do this, then just evade and punch him on the abdomen with an uppercut or something. -Taison out

Maybe hit him in the stomach with a side kick- it'll stop him from getting close enough to use the haymakers- if he is as he sounds a pretty one-dimensional fighter.

If he throws a huge haymaker, he'll be off-balance if you dodge, just lean back and dodge, and come in with a quick counter after he misses.

Is clinching allowed? Move inside and tie him up. On the release, get off some uppercuts and overhand rights.
