Avenger14 Newbie Registered: 03/06/06 Posts: 5	I was wondering if you think taking Haganah would benefit someone who doesn't have any prior martial arts training. The guy who is instructing has great credentials and is certified in the different Haganah areas. Would Haganah give someone the ability to defend himself well and kick ass? Thanks.

globetrotter does unto others before they do unto him Registered: 01/10/05 Posts: 637 Loc: ny usa	haganah means "defence" in hebrew. one of the first defense organizations that were put together in israel (before their was a state) was called "hagana". one of the split offs from krav called itself haganah - it is being used simply as a name, for the positive assosiation. it would be like an american style of defence calling itself "minuteman"
