Hello I have decided to start training in Jujitsu. Since I study Karate now and have so for most of my life.
I realize if I went to the ground in a self defense situation it would be all over for myself. And I feel like I should expand my horizons as well.
So anyway's after hunting around I have narrowed it down to these 3 clubs.
I would appreciate any comments you might have on them. Especially since I'm not a 100% sure what I'm getting into or what to look out for.

All three look good, it really comes down to which you feel most comfortable with, try out each one see how it feels

I second Azjudoaikidoakidaitoryujujutsu [azjudoaikijitsu].

You should pick the one you feel most comfortable with. Go there and basically talk to everyone there, Instructors, students, janitor. . . wait! skip the last one.

I suggest however, if you're really in for game, pick BJJ, if you're more interested in SD aspects of MA pick traditional JJ. BJJ can be used for self-defense but I think their emphasis is more towards game rather than streetfights whereas JJJ is more SD.

Three nice choices. Wow.

They are all BJJ so plan on a major change in the method of training and etiquette you are used to with Karate.

Thanks everyone I feel much better about these choices now. I have one more question is there some sort of etiquette or customs about trying out a class before committing to it ? I want to try all 3 to see which one I feel most comfortable with.
