Just adding my 2 cents. I am fortunate enough to have become a student of David Kahn's, having been led to him after purchasing his book. I personally found the book to be a very easy read and straightforward. Although there are diagrams in place of pictures I found the diagrams very easy to follow. I had read the book and then contacted David, who was more than happy, and prompt, to help me in any way he could. I could recommend the book to anyone interested in Krav Maga or just starting out as I think they would find it very beneficial.

This book was my intro to KM and I think it is a wonderful tool. I knew very little about this art and David's enthusiasm was evident in every page. He made me want to learn more about the art and I must say I love it. A good introduction to the art.

I only want to make some balance. I understand somebody pais 7.50 for the book, well I must say I love krav-maga very much and I personally only buy books written by israelis masters.
I bought one now for US$75 ( in this site ), and I must say that is the best book I found till now.
I do not understand how can there be a martial book with no photos, in the book of Yaron Lichtenstein which I bought now there are literaly thousands of pictures...
