What I hate is white people trying to be chinese. Really wat is wrong with them.
I used to train with a guy who would sit and eat rice at the dojo at one of those little tables on his knees with copsticks. He would tell chinese proverbs about everything. I haven't seen him in years I am sure he has a statue of the Budda in his closet by now. Or actually somewhere we can see it, cause he probably would not do this stuff if there was noone around to see him do it.
Some people have really identity issues, or maybe it's a self-esteem problem either way there just ridiculous.

High kicks are street effective!
I am twelve and I have knocked out SOOOOOOO many bullies with high kicks!
But I will knock him out with a *insert flashy jumping pirovet kick here* before he takes me to the ground!
UFC is a NHB tournament!
Even though TKD is all sport now...it is still street effective!

I made my own MA in just four years in mixed martial arts training in the octagon.
I do MA just for fun.

As with any technique,Flying kicks are not practical or impractical.  Just because they don't get used much in UFC/MMA does'nt mean they don't work we;; in real life conflicts. ttfn
