Ed_Morris Professional Poster Registered: 11/04/05 Posts: 6768	I have a suggestion... the pictures are much larger than they need to be. this is due to the resolution, size and/or compression settings. I'll give an example...the first pic was almost 3Meg! here's the same pic as converted: Now it's size is 35k (1/10th) http://www.geocities.com/nthdegree_news/NE06/ so the problem is your bandwith is getting eaten up from the pics being so big.

Thanks Ed for the pic conversion. I clicked to download the first 7 and with Shaw's Super High Speed Cable it took just over 8 minutes for them all at full resolution. Plus I had to disable some features as my computer didn't like the Sendover site. My brother-in-law is a computer geek so set up my system to not allow things or spiders to come in and check things out. I got them but wow ... too long. Understandable though as they said they were new at it and I'm just glad they they put them up here to get. By the way Ed, are you using an internal or external program to convert these to smaller files? You can PM me so as not to take away from this good thread ... thanks.
