I know how you feel. I've been known for hard counter punches, so I have to keep it under control. The last time i hit someone too hard I had to 100 push ups straight. Can't really give advice, except to do better next time.

Hey Goju, I know what you mean on the hitting hard thing - the only thing I can say is that you'll find most training places are like that, and the trick lies in finding a level of contact which your partner is happy with. Some people will want to go lighter, and some will want a greater amount of contact, and I guess you just have to ask them. Your Sensei has a good point in some ways - it's probably not worth getting battered every time you train, and learning to control your movements may allow you to focus more on technique. Glad you're enjoying the HIT, it looks like good fun!

August 1st Misc. workout. I missed Mondays routine and today i did about 5 Rd's on the bag. I was trying to put together a little mix tape for you guys to see my training grind but my bag broke on the 3rd rd. Starting next week i will put you guys through "a week in the life of gojwarrior1" starring none other than me . All jokes aside, i want to put my training out there so everyone can critique me, so next Fri i will post up on youtube, cant wait to hear all the critics roar!

ok, it might be early or I am not catching on. To do this HIT program, you just run through the exercises one time with lil rest? Can someone break it down for me.

Sure, HIT training is going very heavy and to failure on the first set. That is the only set you will preform so you have to really push it and it must be a true failure. You will rest anywhere from 30 sec to 1 and a half mins. If done right it is a muscle blasting workout! It is also very time efficient too, a whole workout will take around 47 mins to complete. Anything after 45 mins of weight training can have negative effects on muscles.
