I just call them that because it seems like a lazy way to do curls.They are done buy lying incline on a bench and letting your arms hang down with the wieghts and then you curl up.They are truly a blast for the arms because there is no jerk availible to raise them, just the biceps. In no way are they lazy, just a name .

Do 4 sets of squats first followed by 3 sets of step ups. The order and volume will serve you better in this ratio.
Seated incline dumbell curls do isolate the biceps nicely, if isolation is your goal then that is your choice, but I would stick that weighted vest on and do some close grip under hand grip chins instead, but its not my workout, so do what feels right for you.

I know i need to make a chin up bar!As for the squats and step ups i am sore as hell today(i hate leg day )i will try it the other way next time cord.

Jan.8th- easy day - just did 8, 3 min. rds. on the bag and focused on punching combos due to sore legs.

mon. Jan.9th - 4 sets of bench press with dumbells.

4 sets of chest fly

4 sets of lying tricep cross extentions

4 sets of dumbell kickbacks

4 sets of shrugs

4 sets of front and side raise combo.

Comments:does anyone know of any other effective chest workouts?
Also i am thinking of down sizing my sets to 3 and adding one more workout per body part.Just not feeling to effective doing 4 sets and two movements .

Tues.- Jan.10th.
Alright, got back to MMA classes today after a long break since my fathers passing.I trained for 2 hours working some hip throws and learning their striking system( I think mine is more superior, but that is yet to be tested ).Then i rolled with a guy who has been at it for a while, He tapped me out a few times but he got gassed before me!? I have ALOT to learn in this ground fighting system!
All in all it was fun, i look forward to dominating this style!

Jan. 11th.-Not much in the way of physical training.Taught the kids, did about 1000 kicks over the chair, learned some new principles and did all kata hard.

Jan.12th - MMA training.We worked on some stand-up drills and a few take downs and one submission. No sparring tonite just a lot of fast paced drills.

Fri jan 13th.-olympia 15 (this is where we do one push up,stand up fast spin around drop straight down and do two more push ups.Repeat 15 times).

Did 500 slap sit ups.

3 sets of 30 dips.

Did at least 15 rounds on the bag. There were only 3 of us in class and sensei, so there was not sleeping on the bags if you know what i mean!

Sat - Jan 14th.

Took it easy today, i worked hard all week.

3 set of preacher curls.

3 sets of lazy curls

3 sets of hammer curls.

Tri's

3 sets overhead press

3 sets french curls

3 sets lying back hands.

legs

3 sets of step up w/weight vest.

1 set of squats and 1 set of hams. ( got lazy , like i said i worked hard this week but i know that is no excuse !)
