life is really a death sentence with no specific termination date?

Some would say the termination date is already fixed on the day / hour / minute / second you were born; just that you were not aware or told of it.

Just for general information, the Chinese considers a new born baby to be age one; they consider the time in the womb as the first year and when death comes, they add three years. I am not sure about the reasoning for the latter; perhaps, like everybody else, dying young was culturally abhorrent?

I hear God doesn't do contracts...so like any good Sensei, God probably doesn't fall for barganing either.

I just figured it out:
The secret of life is... that there are no secrets.

It's not a secret if you figure it out, now is it?

But it is a secret before you figure it out.

Once you figure it out, it just is.

Right?

PS-What I posted at the beginning, Live Laugh Love and Learn, I guess would be more of my guidelines to life. Is there a difference?

Hey, I said that first.

Oh, sorry, I didn't realise God is on your side; a 1000 apologies.

{some might say that they didn't hear you when you said that because this is a text-based only forum...but not me, I leave the obvious humor to the novices. MwaHa}

The secret to life version 3.0 is...read what ButterflyPalm 'says'.

the secret of life... prepare for it to end and die properly? Life, death... only words for a milestones on the path. you come in this world to help others, others come to this world to help you, all people come to this world to die, and everybody will realize that "there is no spoon", it just needs time.

what is time? you are everything and nothing, you are the same as you were when you first come to the world, and will stay true to your ultimate form until you die and after that. if there nothing is changing, including the fact that everything changes, where is the time? no time at all...

(I just put here some crazyness, my brain is already sleeping, it is 2AM here now )

awwww...I sawwee.

I just thought of another angle to attack this...with linguistics! "The secret of life is..."

secret: means 'Dependably discreet'.

in other words, you need 2 minds in order to even HAVE a secret. Therefore, there can be no 'secret'. there literally is no spoon.

There can be a mystery of life...or a wonder of life...but no secret. HA! {immitates Ace Ventura: 'How doya... like... that...., huh?'}
