There are only bad good students and good bad students. The bad good students are the ones who always go to class, always excel at the work, and do more and do better than what is required. These students are also (financially) poor, so they never get promoted to the next belt level as quickly as the rich students. The good bad students are those who come to class about once every other year that has a blue moon, hardly ever do the work and never volunteer to do anything more than write cheques to the dojo that contain enough money to buy a small country. Additionally, the good bad students also suck up crazily to the instructors. But the good bad students are the ones who come in as white belts in December, get their black belts in January and then pretend to be modest about their (non-existent) skills.
