At least I don't have the temptation of kicking them in the head as a teaching aid (although it might be nice).
Scary thought, considering that one of my English teachers in high school was a black belt

Hello Galen:
Success or failure are relative and loaded terms. If you are a PROFESSIONAL teacher, you will NOT quit from the difficult students. The easy ones are by definition EASY to teach. The hard ones will determine if we possess skill as an instructor or not. Can you only teach the cute, hard working, loving kids or will you work as hard with the challenges???
If you cannot, perhaps a different profession/hobby is in order? If you do, you need a huge bottle of Asperin <sp.?> and someone to share your whimpering and laughter both... come or go is up to THEM and them alone. You stay in place and teach any who come through your doors...
Dangerous students are a different question entirely... Jeff

Wouldn't it be nice if we could match up the bad students with the bad instructors and give them a McDojo far away?
[/Yeah great and perhaps you could be the head honcho and teach them the right way ?

Would you like to be taught the right way to use the quotes? You're quite horrible with that.

It was a lighthearted comment. Take in in the spirit it was meant. Or not.

Now, does Joel take the credit for being a good instructor of NEAS for being a good student?
