Hmmmm, didn't you say you mastered this weapon? If you have indeed mastered the weapon, then wouldn't the answer be obvious? i.e. you wouldn't need to ask if you already are a master.

See, this is why you cannot learn from DVDs, books or the Internet....

...so you mastered the weapon w/o learning how to handcuff an opponent. That doesn't sound like mastery to me. It sounds like you know a few flips & twirll it but that showy stuff is only 20% of the techniques. No one said anything about perfection.

Find a competent instructor.

And, BTW, Bruce Lee learned only enough to look impressive on film.

Hehe this is really funny. You keep thinking you've mastered the nunchakus, hopefully you'll never have to use them in any practical sense.

Oh and guess what? I learned how to use the nunchakus from Mr. Lee himself. And it only took me 5 days to master them too! Amazing huh?

Why are you getting certified as a "master" in nunchaku by a chinese instructor and then learning more about it on a TKD(korean) website.

Is the Nunchaku not an Okinawan weapon? Please somebody clarify.

At least you get a point for spelling it correctly

Of course there's no harm in expanding your MA horizons - that's not the issue. It's your claim of mastery that shows a lack of experience and/or humility.

You see, there are literally thousands of MA-ists in the world who've trained for decades & can do some very amazing things but they will also admit that they haven't mastered their art. So the question to you is "Who do you think you are?"

That's all...
