how long should you cycle on creatine for? i have some creatine pills from a couple months ago that i never really used (Kre-Alkalyn) so i am going to just try them out, i have heard if you cycle on creatine for so long your body will stop producing it on itself or something like that, so just wondering how long to cycle on it for, also on the bottle it says take two a day or before working out, i workout 3 times a week is it alright to just take it three times a week? if i do only take two pills three times a week could i just do that for a couple of months? because i have 17 weeks worth of creatine if i do it that way

I did give you this info on a previous post, but here goes again.
Creatine needs to be takendaily so as to build up an increased level within the body. You dont take it, then use it up and not take it till the next workout, it has a cumulative effect.
8-12 weeks is considered effective for a creatine cycle, the majority of people I know who use it do 8 on 4 off, and they all seem happy and well on this rotation.

it says take two daily and i will do that, should i take both pills at the same time? if so when? or should i take them at different times? and if that when for that, or does it really not matter as long as i get two daily in

Read the instructions carefully. If it does not specify splitting them up, then take them together, on an empty stomach.
You know my opinion on if these will help you, but I wish you luck with them none the less

I've read a couple of articles relating to creatine. You have to be careful when training whilst using creatine as people have injured themselves or experienced muscle cramps or spasms due to the increase in energy levels allowing them to lift heavier weights than they would normally be able to. This puts huge pressure on the body and thus can potentially cause injury. Although the creatine supplements have no currently recognisable side-effects you have to be careful taking them and to follow the dosage guidelines strictly. As the body naturally produces creatine, prolonged use of the supplement can trick your body into to thinking it no longer needs to produce it by itself and will stop. This has implications so make sure you take the breaks as recommended.

You may also see an increase in muscle mass whilst your taking the creatine. The reason for this is that it helps water retention in the muscles. But what happens once you stop taking the supplement? The muscle no longer retains the water and you start to notice that buffed look that you're probably after begin to fade. One of my friends went through a spate of taking creatine. His energy levels increased but he was disappointed as he didn't really see much difference.

Some foods also contain creatine especially herring, salmon, tuna, and beef so adding these to your diet may help.

I am quite skeptical about creatine, not that it can harm your body as there is no strong evidence to suggest this but rather, it's effectiveness.

Creatine actually wont help you unless you are 30-40. because until that age your body produces enough. but im not sure your age
