Hi, I'm new here, and I hope it's alright if I make a suggestion.
I see a lot of people in this part of the forum asking for a forum about some martial art that isn't covered by the forums. Rather than start a new forum every time someone comes along studying something new, would it not make sense to have a forum dedicated to martial arts that don't have their own forum? After all, there are a lot of styles out there, and we're not going to be able to give them each their own talkspace.

that's a great idea - the only problem i see would be having countless threads that wander wwwaaaaayyy off the topic, as happens enough as it is. the martial arts talk forum seems pretty open to posting threads regarding misc. styles, but yeah - i'm still with you on that.

By all means, suggest away.

Basically anything that doesn't have a specific forum is discussed in the Martial Arts Talk forum, that would be the one to discuss "other" martial arts.

The reason certain arts get their own forum is because they are asked for, usually by a large number of people. Regarding the Kali request, if there is a large number of practitioners who ask for a FMA/Southeastern Asia Martial Arts then I believe it would be granted.

I hope I've helped some.
