*thinking of a snowfall, breezy days, warm rains....*

I was able to do nothing for about 10 seconds this morning... during this time, I got nothing done for 15 minutes.
Sitting in the living room with my first cup of coffee, I'm just looking at the reflections on the tv tube (which is off)...I noticed I could clearly see the space behind me and made a mental note to remember that so I can catch the two 4-ft ninjas living in the house (my sons) sneeking up on me in the future. the thought drifted and I blanked out for (what felt like) 10 seconds. couldn't recall what I was thinking for that short time. either I dozed off with my eyes open or I managed to do nothing for a moment. either way, it was relaxing.

butterfly- I want to think that doing nothing means doing something and letting nothing happen on its own when it needs to.

no anti-thoughts here. I did have a non-thought though...but I forgot what it was...

I think when an anti-thought smashes into a positive thought....the universe may implode.

Better to keep thinking one way and not the other. If I actually thought it would be work to non-think, I would wouldn't do it, nor would I ever go on vacation. Laziness can be a virtue...if you rationalize hard enough!

I haven't done nothing since the blank tv incident. I don't plan em, but I like it when they happen. I'm pretty sure it's different from spacing out, because when I zone, I'm usually thinking about something either very slowly or mentally repeating like a record that skips.
