Who is your favorite character from any MA/action movie? and why?
e.g. Pai Mai, Nico, Jason Bourne etc.

My favorite is with out a doubt Mr Miyagi, a little old oriental man who can wipe the floor with 5 teenagers in just 12 seconds! And has the solution to every problem.
Even though you only have two arms you can still block with your forearms.

Of course 1 armed boxer doesn't need arms to kick ass, you need legs.

Does the one-legged boxer kick ass too?

I think my fave is the guy from crouching tiger, oh... and the guy from zu warriors who hates vegetarians.
See how well I block your punches with my jaw!!

the main character of "versus". anyone seen that one? it's like evil dead, highlander and matrix all rolled up in one campy zombie yakuza flick.

oh, and Ichi the Killer - slashing people in half with boot knives (strapped upside down to the boot) and then crying about it for twenty minutes!

Wong Fei Hung!! -Jackie in Drunken Master and Jet Li in OUATIC

Chen Jhun - played by Donnie Yen in the Fist of Fury: Sworn Revenge TV series and Jet Li in Fist of Legend and Bruce Lee as the original. I'd have to say I like Donnie Yen the best in this part, though Fist of Legend is one of the best Jet Li movies.

Su Yin Fong -Jackie's character in the old but very cool "Snake and Crane, Arts of Shaolin"

Funakoshi - played by Yasuaki Kurata in Fist of Legend. I Love that they have a sympathetic Japanese character in this version, a true martial artist, unlike the original.

Buddy - from Six String Samurai. He's the coolest 50's rock n roll kung fu guy ever. "They say you can kill 200 men and play a mean six string at the same time. Is that really true?"

By far, hands down, the best two martial arts charecters are Snake-eyes and Stormshadow from G.I.Joe. Snake-eyes is blind and can still kick a$$. And Stormshadow is a bod mon. Both of them could take out Swift kick in a second.

Practice doesn't make perfect, practice makes permanent. Perfect practice makes perfect.
