Enthusiasm is definitely a good thing. All the best teachers are enthusiastic about what they do.
To become a master of tomorrow though, that enthusiasm has to be tempered with age, experience and lots of training.
My advice would be to train hard for at least 20 years in at least one art. Then decide what you feel you could change in order to make it better. Then train and develop it for a further 5-10 years before you teach it to anyone else.
To answer the original question, yes it is entirely possible for anyone to create their own style. It just takes a very special, very committed and very experienced martial artist to create a good one.
