Being a martial arts beginner, i really want to leard tae kwon do. I have had one video which was real [censored]. I have tried a tai chi workout video, found it good but not demanding enough. I live too far away to go to any classes and was hoping if anyone knew about any good tae kwon do dvds? I would be open to suggestion also as i don't know much about martial arts

Sorry, thirdeye, but watching a video isn't such a great way to learn martial arts.
A DVD can't watch you perform the techniques, and correct your errors. You can't spar with a VCR.
No feedback = no learning.

HAHA, sparring with a VCR. However, if he's using a DVD to learn, wouldn't you spar against a DVD player?

Thx for your help with those links have checked them out, but its just too difficult with bus travel and work. I guess my only chance is a fitness club, which would be more flexible for me but i really dont think that is my thing :\

Stirling is just down the road from you.
Get there and find somewhere to train.

With that attitude, it's no wonder you aren't studying MA. It's your decision but imho, your attitude is the only thing really standing between you and training.
And no, a fitness club won't teach you anything like an MA school. You'll get fit but you won't learn a thing about unarmed combat or the philosophies behind the arts.

Attitude? Why Can't you see that it's not within my means to consider this option? the crap bus service and working must be my fault also.

Working, of course takes priority. However, most MA are trained after work hours, for obvious reasons. If the busses are crap, leave as early as possible. I'm sure you don't work on Sundays, perhaps you'd like to spend some of your time off work doing some exercise which will benefit you in other ways too, if there's a school open on Sundays (you'd be surprised at the odd times Dojos open).
I can't imagine that there are no schools in that list which have times which won't coincide with your schedule at least once a week.
Sure, MA training is going to take some effort and time spent on your part, but in my experience it's all worth it.
Hey, I for one train on Friday nights when all of my friends are at the pub. I am willing to give up time spent with my friends because I don't have any other time and I value MA that much.
