hey, i am going to film a martial arts film and was wondering is it possible, and would it look realistic if i where to do the moves in the film slowly then speed the film up in editing?? what are your thoughts??

It wont work, mainly because when it is sped up, the 'linking' movements (head tilts/movements, stepping, hand movements, blinking, breathing etc) will look jerky and ruin the whole illusion. Sorry, it was used to a certain degree in certain episodes of things like 'Man From Uncle' in the 60's and 70's, and always looked rubbish

cord's right... why do you want to do them slowly? if you do the movements at the correct speed, they should look good enough! slowing down movements can also have a great effect, that's why so many action movies do them
