Well after lifting weights for a couple of months now flitting between routines not really finding anything I really enjoyed I thought i'd make a log to help keep me motivated and hopefully so that you all will enjoy it as well. Alot of the workouts I will be doing currently are CF based as I just discovered this and I really enjoy them so full credit to those guys (not sure if that constitutes as advertising or not so sorry if it does, it isn't intended).

Ok so im 17 years old, a male and brown belt in jujitsu-Been doing it since I was a kid; still am really a kid lol I guess). Im called Will and currently weigh 10st 7lbs and im 11% fat. Im wanting to acheive a better level of fitness for my MA-currently Kung Fu as I can't afford to be doing Jujitsu and Kung Fu; also just to improve my quality of life and health etc. Ok so enough talk well today was my first workout on my new program. Here goes

warm up
Samson stretch x3 hold for 15 secs
Squat 3x5
Sit up 3x5
Back Extension 3x5
Burpees 3x5

So now for the main workout
10 Wide Pull ups
10 dips-Bench
10 close Pull ups
10 Dips-Bench
5 Wide pull ups
10 Dips-Bench
5 Close pull ups
10 Dips-Bench
4 Wide Pull ups
6 Close Pull ups

Time-6 mins 47 secs

Felt pretty good after this workout my arms were killing me on the last pull up had to really force that one out. Had a nice little rush after it too. think this was a good workout and ill feel it tomorrow im betting. Any commenst on this feel free to give feedback good or bad.

ok well today is my second workout and my target for today was
3x15 Sumo Deadlift High Pulls 25lbs
3x15 Thrusters with barbell 25lbs

and I did...

Warm Up
3x15secs Samson Stretch
3x5 Air Squats
3x5 Sit Ups
3x5 Back Extensions
3x5 Pull Ups
3x5 Dips-Bench

Workout
5-SDHP-30KG
this was too heavy after 5 and I new I wouldn't complete what I had to do so I took 10KG off.
10-SDHP-20KG
10-Thrusters-20KG
15-SDHP
7-Thrusters
15-SDHP
7-Thrusters
5-Thrusters
6-Thrusters
5-Thrusters
5-Thrusters

time:14 mins 37 secs

I felt this was a good workout as by the end of it my arms and legs felt like jelly. Was dissappointed I couldn'tdo the thrusters in 3 sets of 15 Iprobably should of moved the weight for them down a KG or so but i didn;t want to take up more time. But in the end that resulted in me having to aplit them into smaller sets. aside from that im pleased with the workout and looking forward to tomorrows.

Be careful with the dips and pull-ups everyday. Very easy to over-do it on the tendons. I am interested to see the other routines you will be using.

yeah i did think about that myself but atm i do not find pull ups or dips too taxing and they help to get the blood running but i will be doing watching them closely to make sure they are still doing good rather than harm

Day 3. Well when i woke up this morning my shoulders arms legs and back all felt like lead they ached so much, this of course made me happy as it was a good ache.

So i get to the gym with the intent of doing a 3 mile run for my workout today and forgot that I had booked a personal training session-This was too teach me how to clean properly and a few other techniques. So After learning how to snatch clean and jerk clean and press etc i wanted to do my run. But the instructor had put a pretty good routine for me together and not wanting to of wasted his time i followed his routine. This coupled with ydays workout left me shattered. But i still went and did my run anyway but only got 1.5 miles as i just had no energy left it took me 14 mins too which i was really dissappointed with as i can usually get a mile in 5 or 6 mins. Heinsight i probably should of left after finishing his routine but im stubborn and wanted to do my run so i did it anyway. And now i really hurt lol
