Unlike last year, I was unable to ride my bike up until January, nor have we had any breaks that I could take my bike out early. So who among us are looking forward to motorcycle season?

I presently have a 2004 Suzuki GSX750F Kanata. I changed out the exhaust to a Hindle system so looks slightly different then below.



I have friend interested in buying it from me or I may trade in, which ever comes first. Been dealing on a 2007 Suzuki GSXR750 that I should have by the end of March.



I cannot wait and am pumped for when I can ride.

I have used a GSXR600 K4 from new and it still makes me smile. My daughter has told me that when I lock it up, apparently I point at it and say "Stay!" (like I do with my dogs). Well I went in on Saturday to check out the pricing for the new bike and after looking over the Suzuki GSXR750 and the GSXR1000 and then Yamaha YZF-R6 and YZF-R1 and have decided on the Yamaha YZF-R6. I've signed the deal and will pick up later this week or on the weekend as they need to build it for me. New specs on the R6 have new racing features that include something to do with the gearing plus electronic throttle instead of cables.

I will now be looking at a bike that is 109 lbs lighter then my Katana and has 34 more horse power. Here is the bike I'll be picking up shortly; can't wait.

Oh i am not jealous Dereck. Just because I havent been able to afford to run a motorcyle for 8 years now doesn;t make me bitter. Oh no, I am a bigger man than that

I quit roadraced from 97 to 2003 and had a blast competeing in the Cmra and AMA series....

I don't think my body could handle racing, nor my nerves. Just for leisure and fun, nothing more.

Bike is finished being made. I will drive in after work on Thursday and go sign all of the paperwork and then send this over to my insurance company. Friday after work I will then ride in on my Katana and swap out for the R6. I cannot wait ... it is like Christmas ... for me at least.

I'm more of a chopper guy myself, but if I was going to get a crotch rocket, that would be it!!

That is one sweet looking bike! I don't even know why they put foot pegs on that thing. Your legs are gonna be trailing behind you when you gett to the top end of that monster!
