One of my friends was planning on fighting a guy down the street because he was harassing him. Me and my friends came along to view and (if my friend starting having trouble) participate in the fight. It was at night and we arrived at the guys house. He saw us and acted very casual at first, then bolted for his house anbd went inside. Me and my friends felt very high and mighty, until we saw him come back out with a knife in his hand. Ofcourse we RLH, but to this day that kid has a power over us that he knows we are afraid of him.

I was wondering if i couldve handled this situation any better. There were my and my 3 friends vs 1 person with a weapon(knife we presumed, but it was dark). Should we have stayed and fought it out? I just wanted to hear your opinions.
