Here is the deal. Every day I will post a quote from an MA movie.Your Job is to guess from which movie it comes. First to answer correctly gets a point. warning my definition of an MA movie may at times be controversial or obscure, but it wouldnt be much of a competition if it was easy would it? I will run this for a week as a trial, maybe longer if you like it. Day 1. 'I used to fvck guys like you in prison!' Let the games commence

So, I have to plan this. I hit Daily Zen before work, check the Movie Quote on my 15 minute break, breeze through chat before lunch, make the rounds again afterwards. Flirt my way through the afternoon... ...Razorfoot is right...I don't work anymore!

Eh, I don't work until about 3pm most days. I do this while watching tv and doing other things. Oops, time to get ready for work...

are we allowed to make our own challenges...I have one...I love this quote:
"Your technique is magnificent. When cut across the neck a sound like whaling winter winds is heard they say. I’d always hoped to cut someone like that some day. To hear that sound. But, to have it happen to my own neck is ridiculous."
movie title?

Shogun assassin- final 'lord of death' to be killed in the desert. Day 2. 'I know you didnt want to... hurt my feelings' Note. The time is now 6am in britain. Will be offline for the whole day working (boo!) but will be back for point giving in around 14 hours. Tommorrows quote will be posted at the same time of day, next weeks approximately 1 hour later. Sharpen your typing skills to get the points

Don't know if you are stuck on this one, or if you simply all have lives at the weekend I will give you a clue just to be on the safeside. Having wooed hollywood with this movie, the actor who spoke these lines went on to have a major role in the mother of all action movies. Get those little grey cells working

Nope, not even close. Clue for day 3. This is the stars second movie of three with this director that had a geographical reference in the title.

Day 4.
'I want to watch Walter the einstein frog'
Joel has got off to a flying start with 1 point. 3 points going spare. All movies listed so far are well known, american made (one was a famous directors debut in western cinema) and had cinematic releases.

Hey Cord another clue for day 2 may be in order here. The struggling continues.
One for you Cord. Old school flick.

Hey...is this the thread where I can FINALLY get the answer to a burning question? For my edification, can anyone tell me where this saying came from? "We don't need no stinking...(I think the word used here is 'invitation')." Thanks!

Razorfoot, that quote- it torments me I want to say crouching Tiger, but I know I am wrong. Is it an Old Shaw Brothers kung-fu Movie, 36 chambers of Shaolin perhaps? Zombiezero, most people google for quizes here ('hoodat' is a prime example) so feel free to post your answer. Another clue for day 2, in case others have a moment of enlightenment. Just when you think the Internet has every possible topic covered... Harlan...the word is 'badges' I almost wrote that this came from Saturday Night Live (thats where I first heard it), but then I looked it up:
1948 Humphrey Bogart movie, "The Treasure of the Sierra Madre."
"Badges? We ain't got no badges. We don't need no badges. I don't have to show you any stinking badges!"

Budoc is a he. I guess with a first name like Christian, it could go either way. And then I sign off with my surname. Yeah that definately sounds like a chick. Maybe folks get confused because I have such a strong sensitive side Page aka Rex Manly

As champion, would you like to take over as quizmaster for the week? its not compulsory, but if it would please you to do so, just post and I will 'pass the baton' so to speak.
I would be happy to do so and would consider it an honor.
Oh, by the way Cord, check your e-mail for the answer to my quote. I sent it to you this morning.
