Im' not trying to be offensive, but some of u guys are very misguided. Get rid of all of your preconceptions of chi! You do NOT need a "key", special technique, or anything super special to feel your chi. And you do not UNLOCK chi, it naturally flows through you. Its always there, there is nothing to unlock. ok ok, do you want a "key"? It's an oxymoron. To unlock your chi you have to realize that there is nothing that is holding back but your own mind. Once you decrease your EGO (social status, culture, reputation, etc) you will begin to understand these types of things. Do you think the first person to realize chi had guidance, techniques, etc? Of course not, so don't rely as heavily on OTHERS and try to find your higher self. Only selflessness and perseverance will get you there.

Who are you? I mean who are you really? When you take away your social status, who are you? Who are you when you take away all of the drama in your life, or if you never talked to anybody in your life? Who are you when you live in a place with no school, government, or laws? I guess what I'm asking, is what is the ESSENCE of you, before you were ever influenced by this outside world? If you got rid of this man-made illusion we call "life", who would you be? What would u be if you stripped away the suit and tie, the ghetto look, or the preppy clothes? Do you even know? Think about it.........and post your answer as a comment!

Lol, sorry for not catching the joke, mostly people say it as "chee", so i didn't exactly get the joke ,lol. But anwayz a little bg info, i'm a black belt in tae kwon do (took it since 5), and i had various belts in judo, and phillipino martial arts. I also practice qigong and tai chi (for some time now), and I get alot of help from one of my friends. She is pretty advanced in energy control, and she helps out alot of people with it. I've been through alot, but i am still a complete novice. Understanding that even qigong masters are complete beginners compared to what lies before them. Honestly tho, i do haev quite a bit of experience, and i'm more than happy to help out other people. (BTW when i first started energy works i had NO guidance at all.... it was rough).

this is not very related but, i have been experimenting with my ki (i actually prefer spelling it chi) for the past... 15 minutes. i discharged a ki ball into some water and it has been vibrating since. i am absolutly sure it exists (IT IS NOT A BUNCH OF HOCUS POCUS.)

i need some help though:
i was drawing ki from the earth and air to create a ki ball in each of my hands. once i accomplished this i began spining and compressing the ki balls. then, i merged them by putting my hands together. the closer my hands got the more pressure i felt in between them. when i finally put my hands completely together. i started feeling the tingling sensation ki generates (still feeling it,) so i concluded there was ki trapped within my aura meaning i did not absorb all of the ki into my "sea of Ki." my hands are cramping and twitching now as i write. could i have damaged my hands?

P.S. how can i discharge the ki "resedue" in my aura? (or in my hands)
