krav maga looks great but not enough people have heard of it, krav maga isn't in all locations therefore this forum just isn't going to work, if krav maga would expand and move to more locations then this forum would become more popular

I agree with your point that KM isn't offered in as many places as most other MA. Hopefully that is changing daily. It did for me as a new KM place close to me opened up a few months ago. However, the cool thing about The Internet and forums is that you can be ANYWHERE and participate. I dont even know where this one is hosted from. I just found it as a result of a Google search. So who knows, it could work

I'm sorry you feel that way jaret. Krav like any other form is deserving of it's own forum. It is expanding across the US and into limited areas of Canada. I hope as people hear about Krav, they will take the time to fully understand what it is, and if it is a good fit for their needs...or an addition to their existing skill sets.

Time will tell if this forum has merit or not, but if I did not try, it would never have had a chance at all...like most things in life.

The forum is a week old and already you are ready to pronounce it DOA?! I hope you have more patience in your training...

Krav Maga is the best! I've been doing it for about two years and I'm stuck in level 2 b/c of attendence. your right when you say it isn't well known there is only one school in vancouver, Washington and that's the one I go to. Krav is on it's way of being up there with kung fu, judo and all the others.

I am enjoying reading here and finding out more about Krav Magna.

Jaret said that Krav Magna isn't heard of enough, and of course he is right. Another reason why this section should stay.......we're all hearing of it now.

I sort of agree with Jaret. The only times I've ever heard of Krav Maga was from a vague reference on Malcolm in the Middle and on this forum. I had to do a google search to find out what it was, and there are no training locations anywhere near where I live.
