Hello people. I need some pointers on how to achieve good posture in every situation i find myself in. Wheter it is when im watching a movie or when im just standing still. Ive heard that the centre of gravity should be as low as possible, and that this might help my posture. How can I lower my centre of gravity? Thanx in advance!

Simply, keep your torso straight and lower your stance.

If you can imagine yourself with really long hair - gather all your hair at the crown of your head in a plait and imagine it being tied to a rope from the ceiling. Your head (and therefore your spine) should feel like it is being suspended by the rope.

The Chinese MAs will tell you that you also need to push your "kua" forward. (The pelvis is the closest to the meaning of kua, but not quite...). It's more like a feeling of "rolling" your pelvis forward and up (like a indecent humping motion).

If you do this, your posture will be "correct".

That is a very good example Eyrie. Probally the most straightforward I have ever seen.

Follow that example and you should have it down.

Grab the floor with your feet and relax your shoulders.
